Times       Directions      Children's Church

Times: Our services are at 10 a.m. on Sundays. The service lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Afterwards, we share coffee and doughnuts and a time of getting to know one another.

Directions:

Our church building is at 34 Sanger Avenue in Waterville (the old Harris Baking Company bread store).

  • Coming from the I-95,take Exit- EXIT 130, Waterville.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Main St. (ME-104 South)
  • Drive about 1 mile through several lights.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Sanger Ave. immediately before the railroad tracks. (This can be tricky. The street looks like it could be a street or a driveway for a business.)
  • End at 34 Sanger Ave. on the left at the top of the hill. It is a small building with a cross on top and a big green Vineyard sign on the side of it.
  • If you miss the Sanger turn, just take the next street (right after the railroad tracks) which is Pleasant St.
  • Take the next right onto North St.
  • As you go up over the hill you will see the old Harris Bread Factory on your right. Turn right onto Harris St.
  • The church will be on your left on Harris, but you won't see the green sign coming from this direction.

You can park in the big parking lot at the south side of the building.

Children's Church

At VCW, we offer children's church for those ages toddler through 10.

We start each service with a time of singing we call "worship". After worship, we invite you to bring your children back for children's church. You are always welcome to keep your children with you during the service.

This Fall, we are excited to be using the Promiseland Curriculum from Willow Creek Publishers. We are Looking at the Pieces of God's faithfulness and lessons for our lives through the Old Testament. If your children go to children's church, they will get to sing more songs, learn a Bible lesson, pray, work on an activity, and have a snack.

It is important to us that you and your children feel welcome and safe. Children's ministry workers work to foster cooperation among the children and an environment where each child experiences the love of Jesus. They are also careful to keep the environment safe and they themselves have been cleared through a background check. Parents are welcome to come back with their children if they desire.
